Our Discover Olowalu tour brings you to Maui’s mother reef, home to thousands of tropical fish and sea turtles right off the coast of West Maui. Enjoy your ride over on a world-class catamaran and get ready to dive into Maui’s warm waters for an uncrowded, close-up view of our reef. After your snorkel, enjoy a delicious BBQ chicken lunch (and premium bar drinks!) as you sail back to Lahaina, soaking up those breathtaking, unobstructed views of the sprawling West Maui Mountains.
Your tour starts with a continental breakfast of Mom Coon’s 4th generation cinnamon rolls and tropical fruit, served with Kona coffee, tea, hot cocoa or pineapple juice.
For lunch, enjoy our savory teriyaki grilled chicken, a crunchy tossed green salad with Mom’s secret dressing, luau rice and soft Hawaiian sweet rolls. Our dishes are always presented to you as a premiere luncheon experience – you won’t find paper plates and plastic silverware aboard our first-class boats!
For guests 21+ (with ID), two adult premium beverages are included on the return sail, as well as soda and fresh, filtered water.
* For Vegan, Gluten Free, or Dairy Free meal requests, please contact customer service upon booking your tour.
Olowalu is known as Maui’s Mother Reef, boasting an impressive 1,000+ acres of tropical reef, and containing corals over 1500 years old! Snorkeling Olowalu truly offers our guests some of the best visibility right off the coast of Maui’s West Side. **
Also locally referred to as Turtle Reef, Olowalu is home to a manta ray and honu (Hawaiian Sea Turtle) “cleaning station”, which provides our guests the unique opportunity to watch as friendly tropical fish clean algae from the shells & backs of these majestic creatures. Surely a memory in the making!
**There are times when weather will prevent us from snorkeling at Olowalu. Safety and quality is our priority and we will choose the best snorkeling destination for that day if Olowalu is not available. **
